Jennifer:

Thanks for stopping by and for leaving your comments. I 100% agree with you that ultimately the buyer determines the value of a site. And in the case of your auction, I hope you didn't take offense. Your site was worth every penny of the $620 it sold for because that's what a buyer was willing to pay. And if the buyer is happy, which you've pointed he/she is, then all the better. Like you said, you never know what motivates a buyer.

Please continue to visit my blog and I wish you all the success with future sales. Maybe I'll be highlighting one of your auction listings again soon:)

Hi Travis =)

Thanks for the nice comments! I've been reading (stalking...lol) your blog here for some time and I've always enjoyed it and gotten a lot out of the knowledge you've shared.

The auction went well - I was quite happy with it. Not just the "payday" but also knowing that I site I made went to a good home and a happy buyer.

In the long run, it's only the buyer who can determine true value for his or her self, don't you agree? Ya never know what motivates people. The buyer could be someone who is already in that market and having a site that compliments and adds more exposure could be very valuable for them. Perhaps its a topic they enjoy and have a lot of knowledge on.... ya never know.

I've bought sites that I KNOW others were thinking, "What the heck did she buy THAT for?" - and then time would show how it fit into my master plan....lol.

Above all, I just really enjoy making new sites, nurturing them to where they show profit and traffic ...and then kicking them out of the nest for someone to get and run with.

Also, for my first time being a seller on Flippa, I have to say I really enjoyed the experience and like their platform. Keep an eye out for me because I'll be selling more sites soon....and I bet my listings will get better from all the golden nuggets I've learned while reading (stalking...lol) you and this blog.

Thanks again!

All the best,

Jennifer
