August 2010 Most Actives and Top Sellers

I just posted all of the Past Website Sales for August 2010. Here is a quick summary table of the 10 most active and top sellers for August:

Like July 2010, many of the most actives and top sellers were websites monetized by AdSense. I decided to jump on the AdSense bandwagon myself so I purchased my first AdSense site last week. We’ll see how it goes. My goal is to totally revamp the site and follow the steps exactly outlined in The AdSense Report. I’m going to see just how effective Cary’s report is. For those of you unfamiliar with Cary or his report, read the interview I did with him where we discussed the topic, “how to make money with Google AdSense.”

Hey Travis,

As a website flipper myself I tend to find that Adsense sites seem to sell very well on Flippa. I personally think it’s because the majority of people who buy website’s these days just want a website that makes money and having an Adsense website doesn’t seem much effort to them. That’s just my opinion but I see a lot of people buying Adsense websites just because of how easy the money comes.

I’m excited to see how you do with the Adsense website, hopefully you’ll do very well and make a nice profit!

Thanks! We’ll see how it goes. I’ve never had an AdSense website before so it should be interesting. I thought it was time to diversify. I’ve always been an affiliate marketer but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try AdSense as well. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
